The purpose(s) of the Pierce County Foundation for Excellence in Education is to advance education in Pierce County by:

• providing a continuing organization, outside the public school system, which will afford increased opportunities for students and teachers;

• providing opportunities for tax deductible bequests, memorials, and other gifts, which will be conserved and used as designated;

• providing a systematic method for the distribution of funds to advance education:  and 

• assuring that funds will be used only for legal and worthwhile projects and without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, disability, sex or gender.
